Portugal: 5th meeting of "Transportes em Revista", July 9th 2008

Transportes em Revista, the monthly Portuguese publication specialised on passenger transportation and urban mobility is organising its 5th meeting on the theme of "Transport, factor of social inclusion".
The event, organised in Lisbon on the 9th of July, will bring together transport authorities, infrastructure managers and transport providers. The Euro Access project will be presented by Tis.pt in one of the 6 Sessions (in particular session E) presenting the best practices founded all over Europe and discussing accessibility to public transport and integration.

Portugal: Article published in Portuguese journal, February 2008

Tis.pt published an article called “Acessibilidade nos TP’s a pessoas de mobilidade reduzida” [.pdf] in the February 2008 issue of the Portuguese journal Transportes em Revista. The article presents the Euro Access project and its different objectives.

Norway: Articles published in Nordic journals, first semester 2008

TOI disseminated information on Euro Access in the article “Improving the Accessibility of Public Transport” published in the first 2008 edition of the joint publication Nordic. The article gives a general presentation of the project and its organisation. It focuses more particularly on its first outcome, the report on the legal framework of accessibility in Europe. TOI also presented Euro Access in the 4th issue of the Norwegian journal Samferdsel. The article titled “Universell utforming: Gjeldende lovverk ikke godt nok” was published in May 2008. It focuses on accessibility to public transport in Nordic countries and references the work carried out by Euro Access.
