Anne Frye Ltd

Organisation description

Ann Frye is an international specialist in the transport needs of disabled and older people. She has led the UK Government’s programme of delivering accessible transport over the past 25 years and has now set up her own business to continue working in this field. She has worked extensively at European and wider international levels. She currently chairs the working group on Access & Inclusion of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) and the working group on air travellers with reduced mobility for the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). Se has also chaired two COST projects (COST 322 on Low Floor Buses and COST 335 on Access to Heavy Rail Services and has participated in COST 349 on access to coaches and interurban buses. She is also currently chairing a joint ECMT/IRU Task Force on Taxi Accessibility. She is joint chair (with Maryvonne Dejeammes) of the US Transportation Research Board sub committee on international activities in the mobility field.

Contribution to the project

Ann FRYE will contribute to the collection of data concerning legislation, national regulation and user needs. Ann FRYE will be also responsible with CERTU of the collection and analysis of the best practices in terms of technical solutions, technical innovation and services.
