Objectives

Based on the work of the previous work packages, the objectives will be to:

• Produce a synthesis of the results of research conducted in work packages 1,2,3
• Translate this work into recommendations on how to better protect and enhance the mobility rights of disabled people
• Identified the needs in terms of research
• Identify the conditions for Transferability of best practices between countries.

Such recommendations will be targeted to the different stakeholders such as:

• European Commission in charge of the legislative, regulatory and monitoring issues at EU level;
• Public authorities in charge of legislative, financing or control tasks at national or regional level in the Member States;
• Infrastructure managers in charge of the construction and maintenance of transport network infrastructures or other essential facilities;
• Transport service;
• Manufactures, providing the technologies for transport service operation;
• Regulatory bodies;
• Social partners;
• Consumer associations, citizens associations and NGOs.
